1. MAGYAR - 100 ÉVES A SZÉPMŰVÉSZETI MÚZEUM
A Magyar Posta alkalmi bélyegkisív kibocsátásával köszönti a Szépművészeti Múzeum alapításának századik évfordulóját.
A budapesti Szépművészeti Múzeumot Európa legjelentősebb múzeumai között tartják számon: anyagának sokrétűsége, az abban található mesterművek sokasága, azok történeti folyamatossága méltán biztosít számára előkelő helyet a gyűjtemények sorában.
A Szépművészeti Múzeum hosszú időn át a magyar művészet alkotásait is magába foglalta; a magyar Nemzeti Galéria 1957-es létrejöttekor a két gyűjtemény fokozatosan szétvált, és a Szépművészeti Múzeum 1974 óta az egyetemes művészet emlékeinek ad otthont – az ókortól napjainkig.
Az egyes osztályok – az Egyiptomi Osztály, az Antik Osztály, a Régi Képtár, a Régi Szoborosztály, a Grafikai Osztály és a Modern Osztály – olyan, szerte a világon híres műalkotások sorát tárja a látogatók elé, mint például Raffaello Esterházy Madonnáját, El Greco, Velázquez és Goya képeit, Dürer Ifjú képmását, Leonardo Lovasát, Manet Hölgy legyezővel című képét vagy Chagall Kék faluját.
A centenáriumot köszöntő kisív válogatást ad a gyűjtemény féltett kincseiből, sorrendben: Raffaello Santi: Esterházy-Madonna; El Greco: A bűnbánó Magdolna; Leonardo da Vinci: Lovas és Claude Monet: Halász-bárkák. A keretrajzot a Szépművészeti Múzeum belső, míg az alkalmi borítékot az épület külső részlete díszíti. Az alkalmi bélyegző grafikáján az oszlopfő stilizált rajza látható.

Magyar Posta commemorates the centennial of the foundation of the Museum of Fine Arts by issuing a special miniature sheet of stamps.
The Budapest Museum of Fine Arts is one of Europe’s most important museums. Its distinguished place among them is ensured by the diversity of works and the many masterpieces that show historical continuity. For a long time the Museum of Fine Arts also housed Hungarian art, but on the creation of the Hungarian National Gallery in 1957 the collection was gradually divided in two.
Since 1974 the Museum of Fine Arts has only housed general art treasures from ancient times to the present day. All of the departments – the Ancient Egyptian Department, the Antiquities Department, the Old Masters Gallery, the Old Sculpture Department, the Prints and Drawings Department, and the Modern Department – exhibit works of art that are known around the world, such as Raphael’s Esterházy Madonna, paintings by El Greco, Velázquez and Goya, Dürer’s Portrait of a Young Man, Leonardo’s Equestrian Statue, Manet’s Woman with a Fan or Chagall’s The Blue Village.
The miniature sheet marking the centennial shows a selection of works: Raphael’s Esterházy Madonna; El Greco’s Mary Magdalene; Leonardo da Vinci’s Equestrian Statue and Claude Monet’s Three Fishing Boats. The frame of the sheet shows a detail of the interior of the Museum of Fine Arts, while the first day cover is adorned by a detail of the exterior. The design of the commemorative postmark shows a stylised capital of a column.

Die Ungarische Post-hoc-bélyegkisív begrüßte die Freilassung des hundertsten Jahrestages der Gründung des Museums der Schönen Künste.
Das Budapester Museum der Schönen Künste gehören zu den bedeutendsten Museen Europas: das Material abweichend von der Vielzahl der Meisterwerke in ihrer historischen Kontinuität verdientermaßen ihm einen hervorragenden Platz unter den Sammlungen.
Das Museum der Schönen Künste für eine lange Zeit, die ungarische Kunstwerke ebenso enthalten, ist die Ungarische Nationalgalerie im Jahr 1957 und die Entstehung einer schrittweisen Trennung der beiden Sammlungen und das Museum der Schönen Künste seit 1974, nach Hause, um die Erinnerungen der universellen Kunst - von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart.
