1. MAGYAR - MAGYARORSZÁGI ZSINAGÓGÁK
A Magyar Posta alkalmi bélyegsorozat kibocsátását kezdi meg a magyarországi zsinagógák bemutatásának céljával.
Szegedi Új ZsinagógaAz alkalmi bélyegsorozat 200 Ft-os címletét a Szegedi Új Zsinagóga oltára, a hozzátartozó alkalmi borítékot a kupola belső képe, a bélyegzőt Dávid lantjának stilizált rajza díszíti.
A mór-arab-mediterrán elemekkel vegyített szecessziós stílusú szegedi Új zsinagóga 1900-1902 között Baumhorn Lipót tervei alapján épült. Magyarország második, és a világ negyedik legnagyobb zsinagógájaként tartják számon: 48 m hosszú, 35 m széles, 48,6 m magas, belmagassága 32 m. A zsinagógában 740 földszinti és 600 karzati ülőhely van.
A templom eklektikus, a stíluskeveredés mégsem zavaró, hiszen egységet képez a falak elefántcsontfehér-kék-arany színharmóniája és a különböző stílusjegyek mértékletes alkalmazása. A festett kupolaablak és a templom valamennyi színes üvegablaka Róth Miksa műhelyében készült. A templom színes, szecessziós földszinti és emeleti ablakain a zsidó nép vallásának és történelmének fontosabb eseményei jelennek meg. A főbejárat felett látható a Régi zsinagóga képe, egy elébe kikötött csónakkal, ezzel emlékezve az 1879-es szegedi nagy árvízre.
Az Országos Rabbiképző - Zsidó Egyetem zsinagógája
Az alkalmi bélyegsorozat 250 Ft-os címletén a budapesti Országos Rabbiképző – Zsidó Egyetem Zsinagógájának oltára, a hozzátartozó alkalmi borítékon a mennyezeti ornamentika, a bélyegzőn pedig egy menorah stilizált rajza szerepel.
Az Országos Rabbiképző Intézet – ma Országos Rabbiképző - Zsidó Egyetem – zsinagógája 1877 óta folyamato-san, megszakítás nélkül látja el feladatát. Százhúsz férőhelyével, orgonájával a zsidó vallás temploma. Legfőbb rendeltetése, hogy istentisztelet színhelye legyen, az Imádság Háza, ahol sábbáti és nagyünnepi, hétköznapi és zarándokünnepi istentiszteleteket tartanak. E kicsiny templom második, de az Egyetem szempontjából igen fontos funkciója, a pedagógiai célok szolgálata, hiszen ún. tan-zsinagóga feladatot is betölt.
A rabbijelöltek meghatározott rend szerint péntek esténként tartanak prédikációt a zsinagógában. A liturgia (kántorképző) szakos hallgatók pedig itt sajátítják el a péntek esti, a szombat délelőtti, a nagyünnepi és nem utolsósorban a hétköznapi istentisz-teleti rendet, rituálét. Magyar Posta is starting the issue of a series of special stamps presenting synagogues in Hungary.
New Synagogue in Szeged:The HUF 220 denomination of the special stamp series shows the altar of the New Synagogue in Szeged, while the first day cover depicts the interior of the dome and the postmark is a stylised drawing of David’s lute.
Szeged’s New Synagogue was designed by Lipót Baumhorn in the Sezession style mixing Moorish, Arabic and Mediterranean elements, and was built between 1900-02. It is the second biggest synagogue in Hungary and the fourth biggest in the world with a length of 48 m, a width of 35 m, a height of 48.6 m, and an internal height of 32 m. The synagogue has 740 ground floor seats and 600 in the gallery.
Although the synagogue is eclectic, the mix-ture of styles is not disturbing as the colour harmony of the ivory-white, blue and gold walls creates unity as does the moderate use of the different characteristics of style. The stained glass of the dome as well as all the other stained glass was made in the workshop of Miksa Róth.
The colourful secession windows on the ground and first floors depict major events from the Jewish religion and Jewish history. Above the main entrance, there is a picture of the Old Synagogue with a boat tied in front of it in remembrance of the great flood of Szeged in 1879.
Synagogue of the Jewish Theological Seminary - University of Jewish Studies:The HUF 250 denomination of the special stamp series features the altar of the Synagogue of the Jewish Theological Seminary - University of Jewish Studies in Budapest. The ceiling decoration is shown on the accompanying first day cover while the postmark is a stylised drawing of a menorah.
The Synagogue of the Jewish Theological Seminary - University of Jewish Studies has fulfilled its function con-tinuously, without interruption, since 1877. With its 120 seats and organ, the main function of this place of worship in the Jewish religion is to provide a venue for religious services, the house of prayer, where the Sabbath, weekdays, major and pilgrimage festivals are celebrated.
The secondary function of this small synagogue, which is nevertheless of great importance to the university, is to serve educational purposes as it acts as a teaching synagogue. Future rabbis hold sermons in the synagogue every Friday night according to a set order. This is also the venue where students of the liturgy department learn the order and ritual of the services for Friday evening, Saturday morning, major festivals and weekdays.

Neue Szeged ZsinagógaAz gelegentliche HUF 200 gültigen Briefmarken von Szeged Neue Synagoge Altar, die Kuppel bezogen auf das innere Bild eines gelegentlichen Umschlag, den Stempel des David lantjának mit einem stilisierten Zeichnung verziert.
Die maurisch-arabisch-Mittelmeer kombiniert Elemente des Art Nouveau Stil, eine neue Synagoge in Szeged zwischen 1900-1902 Baumhorn Leopold wurde nach Plänen gebaut. Ungarn, der zweite und der weltweit viertgrößte zsinagógájaként angesehen: 48 m lang und 35 m breit und 48,6 Meter hoch und 32 Meter Höhe 740 und 600 im Erdgeschoss der Synagoge Galerie Sitze.
Die Kirche ist eine eklektische, doch die stíluskeveredés beunruhigend, weil die Schrankwand elefántcsontfehér-blau-gold színharmóniája und zurückhaltenden Einsatzes von verschiedenen Stilen. Die kupolaablak malte die Kirche und alle die Glasfenster in der Werkstatt Miksa Roth gemacht.
Die Kirche ist bunt, Jugendstil im Erdgeschoss und im ersten Stock Fenster des jüdischen Menschen, Religion und Geschichte der wichtigsten Ereignisse angezeigt werden. Sichtbar über dem Haupteingang des Alten Synagoge in das Bild eines Bootes vereinbarten sich zu treffen, damit zur Erinnerung an die große Flut in Szeged 1879.
Die Theological Seminary - University of jüdische Synagoge
