1. MAGYAR - MŰVÉSZETEK PALOTÁLYA
A Magyar Posta Rt. alkalmi bélyegblokk kibocsátásával köszönti a Művészetek Palotája ünnepélyes megnyitóját.
Az épületegyüttes kivitelezése 2002. tavaszán vette kezdetét és 2005. január 8-i próbaüzem óta értékes, izgalmas előadásokkal várja a látogatókat. A 2005. március 14-i ünnepi nyitó hangverseny után szélesre tárja kapuit a nagyközönség előtt.A Művészetek Palotájának látványos épülettömbje több mint 10e nm alapterületen áll a Lágymányosi híd pesti hídfőjénél, a Nemzeti Színház szomszédságában. A ház teljes belső alapterülete 64e nm.
A közös tető és az ugyancsak közös, impozáns előcsarnok a három fő egység, a Ludwig Múzeum, a Nemzeti Hangversenyterem és a Fesztivál Színház, valamint ezek kiszolgálórészei mellett egész napos programlehetőséget kínáló, a közönség számára rendelkezésre álló helyszíneket fog-lal egybe: büféket, éttermet, kávéházat, Internet-kávézót, csodálatos panorámateraszokat, ajándék- és könyvesboltokat.
Az épületnek – a művészeti ágak együttes jelenlétét megfogalmazó alapkoncepciónak megfelelően – állandó lakói is vannak: a Ludwig Múzeum, a Nemzeti Filharmonikus Zenekar, Énekkar és Kottatár, valamint a Nemzeti Táncszínház. A házban az itt „otthonos” fő műfajok – a zene, a tánc és a képzőművészet – hazai és külföldi kiválóságai mellett a feltörekvő tehetségek is bemutatkozási lehetőséget kapnak. A legmagasabb akusztikai elvárásoknak is megfelelő adottságaival a Nemzeti Hangversenyterem a világ vezető koncerttermeivel kívánja felvenni a versenyt. A közel 20e nm bruttó alapterületű épületrész ad otthont a Nemzeti Filharmonikus Zenekar, Énekkar és Kottatárnak, de a koncertteremben vendégzenekarok és kórusok is fellépnek majd, kapcsolódó stúdióiban pedig audio- és videofelvételek készíthetők.
A Nemzeti Hangversenyterem az épület szívében foglal helyet, és jellegzetes, ún. „shoebox” formája határozza meg a tömb építészeti karakterét. A terem 25 m magas, 25 m széles és 52 m hosszú. Teljes befogadóképessége 1699 fő, de az ülések száma változtatható.A sorszámozott blokk bélyegképén a Művészetek Palotájában található Nemzeti Hangversenyterem, a keretrajzon az épület-külső jellegzetes részlete látható. A blokkhoz tartozó alkalmi borítékon az éjszakai megvilágításban pompázó épület valamit a belső tér egy részlete jelenik meg. Az alkalmi bélyegzőt az átadásra kerülő palota stilizált rajza díszíti.

The Hungarian Post celebrates the official opening of the Palace of Arts with the issue of a special miniature sheet.
The construction of the building complex was started in spring 2002 and since its trial operation on 8 January 2005 it has been putting on exciting performances for the audiences. Following the official opening concert on 14 March 2005 it will hold its doors wide open for the general public.The spectacular Palace of Arts complex stands on ten thousand square metres at the eastern end of Lágymányos bridge, neighbouring the National Theatre. The total internal floor area of the building is 64 thousand square metres.
The common roof and the common and imposing entrance hall links into one the three main units, the Ludwig Museum, the National Concert Hall and the Festival Theatre, and, beside the areas serving these, the areas open to the public providing things to do and see all day long: buffets, restaurants, coffee house, Internet coffee house, the wonderful panorama terraces, gift and book shops. In accordance with the basic concept of the building, that is the joint presence of the branches of the arts, it also has permanent occupants: the Ludwig Museum, the National Philharmonic Orchestra, Choir and Music Archive as well as the National Dance Theatre.
Beside the Hungarian and foreign representatives of the main genres that are “at home” in the complex – music, dance and the fine arts – young aspiring talents will also get the opportunity to perform. With its features that satisfy even the highest of acoustic expectations the National Concert Hall wishes to compete with the leading concert halls in the world.
The part of the building with nearly 20 thousand square metres of floor area will provide a home for the National Philharmonic Orchestra, Choir and Music Archives, but guest orchestras and choirs will also perform in the concert hall, and in the connected studio audio and video recordings can be made. The National Concert Hall is positioned in the heart of the complex, and its characteristic “shoebox” form determines the architectural character of the block. The hall is 25 metres high, 25 metres wide and 52 metres long.
Its total seating capacity is 1699 persons, but the number of seats can be varied.The stamp design on the serial numbered miniature sheet shows the National Concert Hall located in the Palace of Arts, and the border drawing shows a characteristic detail of the exterior of the building. The cover belonging to the sheet illustrates the building lit up in the evening in all its glory and a detail of the interior. The special cancellation stamp is decorated with a stylised drawing of the new palace.

Die Ungarische Post-hoc-Mitteilung der Miniatur-Arts Der Palast begrüßt die Einweihungsfeier.
