1. MAGYAR -LÓ ÉVE
2014, a kínai horoszkópban a Ló éve, amit a Magyar Posta bélyegkisíven örökít meg. A kínai horoszkóp szerint ez az év a kikapcsolódás, a gyermekkor, az öröm, a jóság és a világra való nyitás éve lesz. A Ló jegyében született személyek lendületesek és anyagiakban bővelkednek. A bélyegkisív Xu Beihong (1895–1953) kínai festőművész alkotásainak felhasználásával készült, aki elsősorban tusrajzairól vált híressé. A kisívhez tartozó alkalmi boríték és bélyegző Weisenburger István grafikusművész tervei alapján készült. A bélyegkisívet 80.000 példányban, biztonsági fluoreszkáló pelyhező szálas bélyegpapírra, oszfet és aranyszínű festék kombinációjával az ANY Biztonsági Nyomda gyártotta. Január 6-tól kapható a kijelölt postákon valamint a Filapostán, de megrendelhető a Magyar Posta internetes áruházából is.
Ez a bélyegkibocsátás a Magyar Posta és az Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation (IGPC) együttműködésében valósul meg. A tradicionális bélyegkereskedő cég több mint 70 országgal áll üzleti kapcsolatban a bélyegtervezés, -gyártás, és -kereskedelem vonatkozásában. Forrás: igpc.com
A Ló éve hivatalosan 2014. január 31-én kezdődik, és egészen 2015. február 18-ig tart. Úgy tartják, hogy a jegy szülötte kommunikatív, népszerű, vidám és jól tud szórakozni. Spontán és minden jó lehetőséget ki tud aknázni. Robbanékony temperamentumú, makacs, impulzív, de féken tudja magát tartani, amikor a szükség megköveteli. Nagyon keményen dolgozik, de csak akkor vág bele a feladatokba, ha tudja, hogy az rendesen megtérül. Szereti, ha dicsérik és elismerik, néha hiú és büszke. Szereti a szabadságot, nem szereti a kereteket és a kényszert, ennek ellenére elismeri a hagyományokat. Bármilyen területen is dolgozzon, mindenhol képes megállni a helyét. 2. ENGLISH - 2014 THE YEAR OF THE HORSE
2014 is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac, which Magyar Posta is celebrating on a miniature sheet. According to the Chinese zodiac, this year will be the year of relaxation, childhood, joy, goodness and receptiveness. People born under the sign of the Horse are dynamic and have abundant material resources. The miniature sheet was made using paintings by the Chinese artist Xu Beihong (1895–1953), who is esteemed mainly for his works in ink. The first day cover and postmark for the miniature sheet was designed by the graphic artist István Weisenburger. Eighty thousand copies of the miniature sheet were produced on fluorescent fibre stamp paper as a security feature by ANY Security Printing Company. The miniature sheet is available at selected post offices and Filaposta in Hungary from 6 January, but may also be purchased from Magyar Posta’s online store.

The Year of the Horse officially begins on 31 January 2014 and lasts until 18 February 2015. People born under this sign are thought to be communicative, popular, cheerful, and know how to enjoy themselves. They are spontaneous and exploit every opportunity.
