1. MAGYAR - FESZTIVÁLOK, KARNEVÁLOK - BÉLYEG KISÍV
A Magyar Posta Rt. fesztiválok, karneválok témában, a farsangi mulatozás időszakában alkalmi bélyegkisívet bocsát forgalomba. A kisív címletei néhány jelentős hazai eseményre hívják fel a figyelmet.
A mohácsi sokácok messze földön ismert népszokásának, a busójárásnak az idejét a tavaszi napfordulót követő első holdtölte határozza meg. A busójárás a más népek hiedelemvilágában is megtalálható, télbúcsúztató, tavaszköszöntő, oltalmazó, termékenységet varázsló ünnepek családjába tartozik. Éppúgy rokonságot mutat a riói és a velencei karnevállal, mint az afrikai népek szokásaival. Bár a hagyomány eredetét a törökűzés legendájával is magyarázzák, ennek aligha van történeti alapja.
Virágfesztiválokat az országban több helyen is tartanak, virágkarnevált azonban úgy mondják, hogy Közép-Kelet-Európában kizárólag nálunk rendeznek. Így vált a Debreceni Virágkarnevál, nemzetközi viszonylatban is elismert eseménnyé, amely 2004. augusztusában immár 35. alkalommal várja az érdeklődőket. A felvonuláson résztvevő virágkocsik csak élő virágból, illetve csak természetes kiegészítő anyagokból készülhetnek. Egy-egy virágkocsi feldíszítése 150-180 ezer szál élővirágot jelent.
A késő nyári, őszi időszakban nemcsak Budapesten, de szerte az országban számos helyen tartanak borfesztiválokat. E rendezvények célja, illetve szerepe alapvetően ugyanaz, a magyar bor, borkultúra jó hangulatú megünneplése mellett tisztelgés a termelők, a szüretelők és természetesen a borszerető közönség előtt. A fesztiváloknak gyakran fontos eleme a szórakoztató koncertek, táncbemutatók mellett a gasztronómia is.
A kisív bélyegképein középen található feliratot füzérszerűen körülöleli az adott eseményhez kapcsolódó grafikai elemekből álló kompozíció: a Busójárás esetében busóálarcok, kereplő és tűzrakás, a Virágkarnevál kapcsán színes virágok, a Borfesztivál esetében szőlőfürtök és egyéb borászati motívumok. A kisív zárócímlete a harsona, a meghívó és a dob főmotívumokkal általánosságban véve utal a fesztiválokra, karneválokra.
A kisívhez tartozó alkalmi boríték és bélyegző grafikáját a bélyegképeken található egyes elemekből kialakított montázs díszíti.
