Bélyegszépségverseny 2012: Látogasson Magyarországra!
Az Európai Postaüzemeltetők Egyesülete (PostEurop) évente lehetőséget kínál tagjaiknak arra, hogy közös témakörben úgynevezett EUROPA bélyeget bocsássanak ki. Az idei év témája a „látogatás”. A Magyar Posta 2012-es pályázata kétféle bélyegképet tartalmaz, melyet Rozmann Ágnes grafikusművész tervezett. A főmotívum Magyarország online jele, a „.HU”, melyet az egyik bélyegképen paprika és a szőlő, a másik bélyegképen pedig a Világörökség részét képező Pannonhalmi Apátság könyvtárának különlegességei töltenek meg tartalommal. A keretrajz bal oldalán az Apátság épülete, jobb oldalán pedig a Balaton látképe tűnik elő. A kisív ofszet eljárással 100.000 példányban készült a Pénzjegynyomdában.
2003 óta évről évre az érdeklődő közönség választja ki EUROPA legszebb bélyegét. Monaco, Görögország, Izland, Ukrajna és Örményország után 2008-ban, 2009-ben és 2010-ben is a Magyar Posta bélyegújdonsága nyerte el a kitüntető címet. 2011-ben a szervezők változtattak a verseny menetén és a korábbi internetes közönségszavazás mellett hét főből álló szakértő zsűri is választott legszebb bélyeget. Ezt a szakmai díjat első alkalommal a Ciprusi Posta nyerte. 2011-ben EUROPA bélyegünk a közönségszavazatok alapján második helyezést ért el.
A Magyar Posta ezúttal is indul az internetes bélyegszépségversenyen. 2012. június 10-ig lehet szavazni a http://www.posteurop.org/europa2012 honlapon, az eredményhirdetés pedig 2012. június 12-én lesz Párizsban, a Nemzetközi Filatéliai Fórumon.

Stamp beauty contest 2012: Visit Hungary!
Each year PostEurop, the Association of European Postal Operators, offers its members the opportunity of issuing EUROPA stamps on a common topic. The subject for this year’s stamps is ‘visit’. Magyar Posta’s 2012 entry contains two stamp designs, which are the work of the graphic artist Ágnes Rozmann. The main motif is Hungary’s online country code ‘.HU’, which in one stamp is filled with peppers and grapes and in the other contains details of the library of the World Heritage site of the Archabbey of Pannonhalma. The building of the Archabbey is on the left of the selvedge and Lake Balaton can be seen on the right. 100,000 copies of the miniature sheet have been made by offset printing at the banknote printing company Pénzjegynyomda.
Since 2003 the most beautiful EUROPA stamp has been chosen by the public. After Monaco, Greece, Iceland, Ukraine and Armenia, Magyar Posta’s new stamps won the coveted title in 2008, 2009 and 2010. In 2011 the organisers altered the rules of the competition and, in addition to the online vote of previous years, a seven-member expert jury also chose the most beautiful stamp. This first professional award was won by Cyprus Postal Services. In 2011 our EUROPA stamp came second in the popular vote.
