1. MAGYAR - KATOLIKUS TALÁLKOZÓ - BLOKK
A Magyar Posta Rt. alkalmi bélyegblokk forgalomba bocsátásával köszönti a Közép-európai Katolikus Találkozót.
A Szentatya felhívása indította a nyolc közép-európai országot az egy éven át tartó együttműködésre, a hit ünneplésére. A Találkozó célja tudatosítani a résztvevő országok népeiben, hogy a kereszténység az európai identitás meghatározó része. … Erre utal a találkozó jelmondata: Krisztus - Európa reménye. Az Eukarisztia iránti és a Mária-tisztelet az európai népek közös kincse. Ennek kifejezése és megvallása jelenik meg a különféle nemzeti rendezvényeken, de kifejeződik a találkozót bezáró közös összejövetelen az ausztriai Máriazellben, a népek zarándoklatán is.
A magyar bélyeg-kibocsátásban első ízben alkalmazott, keresztalakzatban perforált blokk bélyegképein – Lázár Szilvia és Raszler Tibor grafikusművészek festményei és terve alapján – látható motívumok a következők, függőlegesen: a Máriazelli Bazilika épülete; Madonna kegyszobor illetve aranykeretes Madonna kép Nagy Lajos korából, a Máriazelli Bazilikából; kiscelli Mária kegyszobor az Óbudai Plébániáról; vízszintesen: Madonna kegyszobor a Máriazelli Bazilikából; Madonna kegyszobor a celldömölki kegykápolnából.
